St Wilfrid's Church

Service Style

We have a variety of services at 10:00am, ranging from Sunday Morning Holy Communion service, to our informal family worship. Holy Communion is every first and third Sunday of the month, we have a Morning Praise every second Sunday, and an All Age worship family service on a fourth sunday.

We welcome families, young and old,  children and young people at all our services; we have a vibrant and engaging sunday school bi-weekly for the children and youth. We offer a creche area in the church for the little ones!

Pastoral Care

We have a prayer chain co-ordinator who shares prayer requests on a closed email network. There are opportunities  to join small groups or Bible study groups which provide valuable support to our members in a more relaxed setting. We also have a prayer book in church for those who desire to have prayerful support from the congregation.

Social Events

We see fellowship at St Wilf’s to be  just as beneficial as our Sunday worship,  after each service we share tea, coffee, biscuits and the occasional cake! the opportunity to pray and socialise. We hold bring and share lunches, Harvest suppers, Beetle Drives, Table tennis tournaments, Tea Parties, Christmas services,  and annually we have a Fun day!

Our Building

For many years people have been coming to St Wilf’s to pray and worship God. Today worship at St Wilf’s is lively, joyful, welcoming and refreshing.  Our church hall is connected to the church and is where we hold our sunday school, to give families the chance to worship knowing their children are safe and entertained.

Our Hall

We also have a pre-school play group on four days a week and a parents and toddlers group every Tuesday.  Our hall is also available to hire, please contact the parish office.
