Christ in Risen - He is risen indeed - Halleluiah
Easter Sunday started with a special Sunrise Service in the Recreatrion Ground. This was followed by services across the parish during the morning.
The service started with the lighting of the Easter Pascal Candle which was blessed. This candle will be lit during Easter and then again for special occasions such as baptisms and funerals. We celebrated with Family Holy Communion. After the service members of the congregation were invited to build the Easter cross with flowers in remembrance of loved ones.
