Following the International Wave of Prayer Service, the Horley Parish Mothers' Union put their prayers into action making Bags of Love. The first day at play school can be an unsettling time for guardians as well as the children. Guardians were given a Bag of Love when they attended Play Group at the beginning of the academic year. Each bag contaned a packet of tissues, coffee and tea sachets, biscuits and cake, with a prayer card from the Mothers' Union and a little message of encouragement.
