PuppetKru Horley is an all age ministry born at St Bart’s Church and now involves people from across the parish. The aim of it is to share the love of God in an accessible, fun way.
PuppetKru Horley were formed in 2001 by Stuart Thorpe and Carol Black. We are a Christian Puppet Ministry based at St Bartholomew’s Church.

We use puppets as a tool to spread the word of God in a fun way with songs and scripts for people of all ages. Our team meets regularly and have been part of services as well as put together special events proclaiming the Christmas and Easter messages in their own unique way.
PuppetKru have also been invited to other events, such as baptisms, community and outreach events, such as the Horley St George’s Day celebration and Horley Carnival plus school events.

They are blessed with a great team and through generous donations we now have large range of puppets, props, staging, music, scripts and electrical equipment enabling us to give a wide variety of performances.
If anyone is interested in finding out more about PuppetKru and ways of helping us, we meet every Tuesday evening during term time at St Bart’s Church. You are very welcome to join us and have a go. Contact the Parish Office on 01293 782218 for more information.
